SLAVEN BELUPO AND RIJEKA WIN THE FINAL OF THE CROATIAN FOOTBALL CUP

Slaven Belupo and Rijeka players will compete in the final battle for this season’s Rabuzinovo sunce.

They played the first semi-final game in Koprivnica between Slaven Belupo and Osijek. Neither team found a way to the net, and then the penalty kicks were taken.

In the second series, Šuto did not realize his attempt, and then in the fourth, Soldo hit the post, and Hernani shot over the goal in the fifth. Thus, Boras had the opportunity to seal the victory of Slaven Belupo, which he did with a powerful shot into the top corner.

The second semi-final was played in Rujevica, and the scoreboard remained 0:0 until the 86th minute, when Valinčić made a mistake. Fruk checked Majkić with a great shot from the edge of the penalty area and ensured Rijeka a place in the final.
