OLIĆ AND CRNAC AHEAD OF ANDORA: WE GO FOR THREE POINTS

The Croatian U-21 national team will play a qualifying match for the European Championship 2025 against Andorra on Friday, October 11. The young Vatreni will play two qualifying matches for the European Championship. The first game will be played on Friday against Andorra.

This is our second cycle after the first one, which was only partially successful. We have two more matches. This first match tomorrow against Andorra is the most important because considering that the opponent is of such renown, everyone sees only victory and these are the most difficult matches for the players and for us coaches to prepare them and motivate them as much as possible started the coach Ivica Olić

The goal is always three points and go for victory. We will try to make the most of all the chances and take three pointsnational team member Ante Crnac

Although Croatia won 3:0 against Andorra in the first match, Olić warns that every game is essential and that no opponent should be underestimated.

In the first match against the Faroe Islands, we saw how important it is to enter well, to be ready in every match, to score a goal on time against such teams and not to underestimate your opponent. All the focus in these three days that we had in training and today we will work on getting into the match as controlled and ready as possible and to take those three points, which would of course be a very important victory for us on the one hand, which would give us elan and wings for that second game that will decide our groupsaid Olić

Since the last match against Andorra, several new players have arrived in the national team, and the staff has changed, so the Crnac emphasizes that the game will look different than away from home.

I think they will of course, especially since we are playing in Croatia. I think it will be easier for all of us, but we feel that now the team is more cohesive and in greater unity than before, and I think it will be goodclaims Crnac

The next two games in the qualifiers against Andorra and Greece will be crucial, but the team is confident that the matches will go in their favor.

There is always pressure, but we are only looking at ourselves and looking at how to take six points in these two games and go to the Eurosconcluded Crnac
