At the first meeting of the CEV European Volleyball Federation‘s Board of Directors, the members of the new commissions necessary for normal functioning in the next four-year term, until 2008, were appointed.
Again, the Croatian Volleyball Federation was entrusted with a great honor, and its prominent members were elected to important CEV commissions. Thus, Mrs. Valentina Bifflin, director of the CVF, was elected as the chief secretary of the Financial Commission of CEV, Mrs. Aleksandra Perenčević became a member of the Medical Commission, and Mr. Nikola Badovinac became a member of the Legal Commission of CEV.
The President of the Croatian Volleyball Federation, Frane Žanić, with undisguised pride, heartily congratulated them on their selection, noting:
These commissions will work for the next four years, each in its own segment of work, and will implement the policy of the new CEV leadership. This is certainly another proof of the recognition of the Croatian Volleyball Association in the European Volleyball Federation. I think that we have positioned ourselves very well and made great strides to improve not only the sport of volleyball in Croatia, but also in Central Europe and in CEV itself
