The European Football Federation UEFA has shown great confidence in Croatian refereeing ahead of this year’s major youth national team competitions.
Jelena Kumer will administer football justice as head referee at the European Championship for girls under 17 in the Faroe Islands, Patrik Kolarić as head referee, and Luka Pajić as assistant referee at the European Championship for players under 17 in Albania.
Mario Zebec will be the VAR referee at the European Under-21 Championship in Slovakia.
Although the Croatian women’s national football team will not participate in the UEFA European Women’s Championship in 2025, Croatia will still have its representatives at this great competition: referee Ivana Martinčić and assistant referee Sanja Rođak-Karšić.
The championship will be held in Switzerland from July 2 to 27, with matches played in eight stadiums, including Basel, Bern, Geneva, and Zurich.
Twelve UEFA officials and one refereeing team from the Confederation of South American Football (CONMEBOL) have been nominated for the final tournament in Switzerland. The UEFA Referees Committee has named 12 referees, as well as assistant referees, video referees, and assistant referees, to officiate 31 matches at UEFA Women’s EURO 2025.
Among them were Croatian judge Ivana Martinčić and assistant judge Sanja Rođak-Karšić.
