PETKOVIĆ IS MISSING THE GAMES AGAINST SCOTLAND AND PORTUGAL

Bruno Petković will not be in the competition for the Croatian national team’s matches against Scotland and Portugal in the Nations League.

The Dinamo striker attended the Vatreni gathering in Zagreb. However, after examination and consultation with the national team’s medical service, it was established that he could not compete in the matches with Scotland and Portugal due to a problem with the adductor. In agreement with coach Zlatko Dalić, he will miss this national team meeting.

Dalić announced such a development at the press conference before the national team gathering:

Players come to the national team with great respect, and it is an honor for them to play on the national team. Sometimes they are not the most ready, that’s how it was with Bruno against Turkey in Osijek, he was injured, but he wanted to play. I appreciate that very much, that’s why the national team has successes, because of such relationship. For now, Kramarić, Matanović and Budimir are enough, if something happens, we will react

During this gathering, Vatreni will finish the first part of the competition in the Nations League with meetings against Scotland (November 15 in Glasgow) and Portugal (November 18 in Split). After four rounds, the Flames are in second place with seven points, behind Portugal (10 points) and ahead of Poland (4) and Scotland (1). The first two positions lead to the competition’s quarterfinals; the third-placed national team goes to the playoffs to stay in League A, and the bottom team will move to League B.

The national team gathered in Zagreb, where they will train until November 14, when they travel to Glasgow. A day after the match in Scotland, Vatreni will travel to Split, where they will face Portugal on November 18.

The Croatian Football Association has released additional tickets for the Croatia—Portugal match, which will be played in Split on November 18, starting at 20:45. The ticket prices are on the Croatian Football Association website.

He is among our best options, he is playing well, if he continues like this, he will be in the national team very soon. The most important thing is that he is in good shape, we follow him, just let him continue. We had a decision two weeks ago about the strikers, I believe themDalić about Sandro Kulenović

Defense? Šutalo is healthy, he played the game yesterday and played well. Earlier, he was resting for prevention. Šutalo, Guardiol and Caleta-Car are our options. We called Pongracic so that we have an additional option. In Scotland, we want to be aggressive and get the job done. Interestingly, of so many hitchhikers, we were left with only them. We have a good roster to combine. We don’t have standardization, but I hope we will get it by summer. I’m sorry that they don’t play in clubs, it’s not my nature to call those who don’t play, but I hope that will come tooDalić about Croatian defense

We won’t think about it, we will put the best we have in the team. I have said many times who and what Ivan Perišić is, what he gave everything for Croatian football, it would be illogical for him to experience an unpleasant reception. I think he deserves respect from all of usDalić about Ivan Perišić
